Jingwen Zhu
Jingwen Zhu is a design technologist based in Brooklyn. Her recent work involves connected devices, wearable technology, e-textiles and physical interactions. She is interested in designing engaging interactions and combining traditional crafting with innovative technology. Jingwen received her master degree from ITP, NYU. She is currently the Co-founder and CTO of Wearable Media.

What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
As a designer, I continuously observe how other people dress up and what do they wear as inspirations. I was fascinated by how people use different outfits to present their different personalities, so I started experimenting with using garments as a medium to express thoughts, emotions, and messages.
