Mildred the trompe l'oeil sea monster: Mildred is a sea monster constructed of plywood, acrylic, polyurethane, screws, and sandbags. She is an experiment; taking theatrical set pieces out of the theater and into the real world. Its an illusion completely created by hand.
Green Bronx Machine - Pop Up Farms: Green Bronx Machine will be building and featuring an onsite vertical farm with Tower Garden technology. This technology allows you to grow food ANYWHERE regardless of seasonality - indoors/outdoors - using 90 % less water and space.
BUST Craftacular: The BUST Craftacular is N.Y.C.'s longest-running craft fair and indie shopping event series. It's an award-winning celebration of DIY culture, featuring eclectic vendors from all over the US, plus fantastic prizes and DIY activities for all ages!
Drummer in a Suitcase: A portable percussion unit housed in a suitcase. Patterns are fed to the unit remotely via an iPad using Bluetooth MIDI.

Autonomous Quadrotors at GRASP: Come see the worlds smallest collision resistant autonomous quadrotor (at the time of publication) and our fully autonomous fast flying FALCON quadrotor that was developed for DARPA's Fast Lightweight Autonomy program.
Melandolly: Melandolly is the brainchild of Cinnamon Willis, which is the name that she uses to describe her highly expressive figurative sculptures. Her work is mostly made out of clay, and she will be demonstrating how she creates them.

The Smell Synth: The Smell Synth is a Willy Wonka-inspired smell machine you can play like a piano. Press "maple" and take in its sweet aroma. Now add "butter" and – poof! – you've created pancakes. There are over half a million combos. What smells will you create?

Today's Catch: For today's catch we have an imaginary creature that represent cybernetics with the brain-like appearance, movement, and the interaction between viewers and the piece invites viewers to experience an uncanny space.
Light Scapes: Light Scapes is a series of 3D printed photographic sculptures, inspired by low light photography. By replicating scenes and illuminating them using small embedded electronics, this project explores the ways we interact with light in mundane and everyday intimate moments.

Artisan's Asylum: Learn what's going on at Artisan's Asylum - one of the worlds largest maker spaces! We have 15 shops, 160 studios and infinite inspiration.
NOMNOM: The Video Machine: NOMNOM: The Video Machine allows users to play YouTube videos as music samples, and sync them like a DJ. Powered by an Arduino, NOMNOM controls the playback of YouTube videos presented on a web browser.
Heavy Meta dragon art car: Heavy Meta is a 30 foot-long, mobile metal dragon made of hand-cut, hand-welded sheet metal panels built atop a GM bus. She is a terrifying and beautiful beast, and of course Heavy Meta shoots fireballs from the tail and animatronic mouth.
Dancing water fountain: This is a dancing musical water fountain show that I set up every year in front of my house for my Christmas display. It has 15 jets with RGB lighting that can be individually controlled from a computer running theatre lighting and midi software.
Superhyper Innovative Technology presents the MandelBot: A Bike Powered Food 3D Printer: The MandelBot is a Bicycle Powered 3D Food Printer from the Groucho Fractal Show. We are a collaborative open hardware and software project oriented around education and the development of programmatically generated devices.

High Frontier Outpost: High Frontier Outpost is a design for a large space habitat intended to support the colonization of Mars and the exploration of the outer solar system. It is conceived using advanced engineering and environmental concepts.
"Symbiotic" : A Theatrical scenic painting demonstration featuring symbiotic organisms: Infinite Scenic's talented artists will paint a large scale illustration using traditional theatrical painting techniques. The piece will be completed from start to finish during Maker Faire weekend. Come watch how sets get made.
Benjamin Cowden: Mechanical sculpture exploring the world using mechanisms as metaphors for the human body. Working at the junction of digital fabrication (CNC machining and 3D printing) and traditional craft skills, each device offers an interactive experience to viewers.
OHorizons: Our international coalition of innovators has engineered an open-source and award-winning method for organizations in developing countries to follow and produce their own inexpensive household water filters using 100% local materials, tools, & labor.

Hall of Science Amateur Radio Club (HOSARC): WHEN DISASTER STRIKES AMATEUR RADIO IS READY. Our project will display communications with a GO Box, a fully contained and portable amateur radio station. It will use amateur radio frequencies to transmit and receive digital communications.
Project ORRCA: For a Cleaner. Better World.: ORRCA is an unmanned surface vessel, inspired by the BP Oil Spill in 2010. Built to clean up water pollution, ORRCA can separate sediments, dirt, plastics, and even oil from water. Let's solve the world water crisis, together, for a cleaner world.

DroidBuilders - Northeast Sector: These are the droids you have been looking for! Come and meet the life size, screen accurate, replicas of your favorite Star Wars Droids. Our makers have built operational R2-D2s, BB-8s, MSE, and other Star Wars Droids. Come to take pictures, learn how you can build your own droid, or how we give back to local communities and charities by volunteering to operate and displaying our droids for Star Wars related events.

Trailer Parklet -A Mobile Park: Trailer Parklet is a living mobile public park with trees flowers grasses and a mini pond, all living inside a 12' x 6' x 7' V-Nose construction trailer. This is a sportier more agile mobile public park, the second in a series of mobile parks.
ioNature II: ioNature II is an interactive installation consisting of 212 sets of dried wheat, designed for World Maker Faire in autumn. When people walk nearby, the wheat responds to people by swaying back and forth, forming wave patterns.
TOBOR - The Gigantic Robotic Dinosaur!: TOBOR is a larger-than-life robotic dinosaur with wireless remote control that can pick things up and be driven around! TOBOR was built to showcase the many talents of our instructors at the NCC Fab Lab in Bethlehem, PA.
