Out of college, I was ultra bored with my first "real" job in NC. Needing to feed my always present creative appetite, I decided to take a metalwork class. The instructor told me I was a natural, and that my final bracelet project looked like it was made by someone who'd been doing it for years. Those assurances must have gassed me up (or maybe I just needed any nudge to move on) because not too long afterwards I decided designing was my destiny, moved to NYC to prove it, and never looked back. Since then, I've launched a couple of popular, non-design centric lines and eventually fulfilled my dream of becoming a full-time jewelry artist. As rewarding as that's been, I've always wanted to create a jewelry line that embarks on my love for aesthetics, fashion and design. And so, Metal Mingle was launched as my outlet to do so.
Metal Mingle is an adaptable mixed metal and personalized jewelry line for the laid-back fashionista; suiting her jeans (in both t-shirt and late-night mode) or her favorite new dress. The pieces are modern, minimalist, and handmade in Brooklyn.
