Shannon Fiume is the owner of Autofracture LLC which is conducting research in nano carbon composites manufacture to make hi-tech electronics that will be eventually derived from atmospheric CO₂. Any method to solidify carbon from atmospheric CO₂ gas will be open sourced. This is to quicken the deployment of devices that will solidify carbon and remove it from the carbon cycle.

What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
Shannon wanted to make more impact besides reducing her local carbon footprint. She also wanted to know is there a way to reverse climate change back to pre-industrial times in our life times, and not by 2100. To this end she started Open NanoCarbons an open science effort to find the fastest way to solidify gigtonnes of carbon from atmospheric CO₂. Once the fastest way is found, ONC would open source designs to build devices that would solidify carbon.
