Dane has been an outdoor instructor for over 15 years and has been teaching survival and traditional skills to all ages for over 10 years. He is a NOLS certified WFR and CA licensed back country guide.
Black Oak Wilderness School is a wilderness survival and traditional skills school based in Oakland CA. Our programs include camping trips and shop makers classes for adults and teens to learn about traditional living and self reliance.
What inspired you to make this project?:
I've always been fascinated by nature and traditional living. I believe there is a sustainable future in self reliance and deeper connection to the natural world.
