What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
I've always been a Maker and have continued with learning new things throughout my life, to keep my brain ticking over. At the moment the chemistry and fabrication of artificial nails fascinates me, as it's a miniature version of fibreglassing, which I used to make a body for a drag race car. It's an interesting form of non-permanent body hacking, and combines many Maker techniques.
