Grace is currently a junior in high school. She enjoys playing the bass in orchestra, jazz band, and pit orchestra. She also enjoys doing outdoor activities, including kayaking and hiking. She also German dances and helps children learn the German culture and dance. Grace has done science fair since 7th grade. She loves inspiring people with her projects and talking with them.

For my freshman science fair project, I made a dress that changes colors according to the wearer's brainwaves. I chose to do this project because my mom suffers from migraines. In my presentation, I will be discussing how I made my dress, my future plans, and the future of wearable technology.
What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
I decided to do a project in neuroscience because my mom suffers from migraines. My entire life, I have watched her be in so much pain from her migraines. At some points, she had to go to the hospital because her migraines were so bad. She has taken and is taking numerous drugs and has tried various methods to try to help with her migraines. After doing some research, I found that about 12% on the American population- approximately 37 million people are suffer from migraines. Each one of these people are restricted by migraines every day. This is what made me decide to try to help my mom and others who suffer from migraines. I decided to make this dress as a beginner project into neuroscience.
