Every so often, our expectations of what is possible can change. A new idea, an inspired invention, a resourceful person or group appears and alters the way we think about the world. That is the platform CityLab builds well.

CityLab is a Venture-backed Social Purpose Corporation that acts like a B-Corp, with a next stage incubator much like the Last Mile Program, Project H, Common Change, etc. Living in San Jose, his work is being widely adopted as part of larger reentry program for Veterans. I understand how to navigate the critical space in job diversity between the Maker Community and local communities needing support. I hope to motivate other makers to become engaged in empowering young people to reach out of their comfort zone and do something positive and meaningful.
