Douglas Smith is a Project BIM Manager at Woods Bagot. He has a wide range of hobbies including home brewing and abstract photography and graphics. He also teaches the Dobsonian Telescope Making class at the Randall Museum in San Francisco.

What inspired you to make this project?:
I wanted to learn the night sky... And it is an excellent design project- designed around the optics but many opportunities to bring in art and design.
