Master Food Preservers of San Mateo/San Francisco Counties

Master Food Preservers of San Mateo/San Francisco Counties

The Master Food Preserver Program is a public service community outreach volunteer program through the University of California Cooperative Extension that provides up-to-date information on food safety and preservation.

What inspired you to make this project?:
After re-launching the Master Food Preserver program in San Francisco and San Mateo counties last fall, the newly trained volunteers are excited to share their knowledge with the community and inspire more people to learn how to preserve their food using pickling, canning, dehydrating and other techniques.
