Cassetta di Cottura - Natural Slow Cooker
It is a handcrafted product Made in Tuscany, an eco-design object conceived and created entirely within a circular economy. It is a versatile container for food processing, suitable for slow cooking and steaming, fermentation, and for keeping food cold (or hot), thanks to the principle of thermal inertia. Exploiting the insulating power of wool—a precious resource that has been ‘forgotten’ for too long—it allows food to continue the cooking process started on the stove and/or maintain its temperature in a controlled way. It reduces energy, water, emissions, and labor time, both at home and in small-scale catering. The LCA results have been remarkable, carried out by SEAcoop STP (Turin), 2025: Life Cycle Assessment of the Filo & Fibra Slow Cooker; a study reviewed and validated by Dr. Benedetto Rugani (CNR-IRET Porano). In simple terms… the Slow Cooker is sustainable and safe!

SOCIETà COOPERATIVA A.R.L. FILO&FIBRA
La nostra Cooperativa di comunità femminile di San Casciano dei Bagni (SI) è nata per l'ambiente, per aiutare le piccole aziende agricole del territorio, produrre lavoro e per ricostruire la filiera della lana ordinaria, ormai rifiuto speciale. Grazie ad un libretto storico trovato nel cassetto del comò di una nonna, dal titolo "Non sprecate" pubblicato dal Resto del Carlino di Bologna nel 1941, abbiamo trovato la Cassetta di Cottura che ha cambiato la nostra vita ed esaltato la missione. L'interesse diffuso per l'oggetto ha generato una comunità slow food a livello nazionale e internazionale.
