In today’s corporate digital media landscape, the Internet is reshaped into a controlled space for profit and consumption. Giants like Meta, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google acquire smaller companies—Apple with Beats, Meta with Oculus, Instagram, and WhatsApp—rebranding them as their own while stifling innovation and creative freedom. Surprise Acquisition is a media artwork exposing the randomness of these takeovers by likening them to an arcade “claw” machine. As the dot-com era saw companies hoard domain names, today’s strategy is to amass capital to buy rivals and absorb their products. The work underscores how such acquisitions have spiraled into unchecked corporate territorialism, with each “captured” company’s price feeding a growing total that visualizes tech’s escalating greed.

Jmenuji se Hana Šlehubrová a návštěvníkům bych chtěla představit řemeslo drátování i v jeho modernější podobě. Ve své kreativní drátenické dílně nabízím výrobu drátovaných výrobků a kreativní odpočinkové služby. Vyrábím především drátované obrazy stromů života všech velikostí, používám dřevěné rámy, které si sama patinuji a upravuji. Kombinuji i různé techniky a materiály, každý obraz je jedinečný a originální výrobek. Vzniká zde i mnoho jiných originálních výrobků a šperků, nabízím zakázkovou výrobu, renovaci a oplety nádob apod. Své zkušenosti předávám formou kurzů, workshopů, dílniček pro širokou veřejnost i pro různé organizace. Toto nabízím ve své drátenické dílně v Nejdku nebo přímo u Vás, ve škole, ve firmě... Řemeslo drátování bych chtěla zachovat, ukazovat a hlavně šířit a to nejen v Krušnohoří. Pro Maker Faire připravuji workshop pro nejmenší děti, kde budeme drátovat a oplétat s pomocí šablon a korálků. Starší děti a dospělí si mohou vyrobit kulatý závěs stromu života. Přijďte a vyzkoušejte si to!

Instalace se skládá ze dvou robotických ramen UR 5 a UR 10, která hrají na unikátní bezkontaktní nástroj Laser String. Subtilní laserový paprsek je přerušován světlocitlivým senzorem. Laserová struna vznikla v roce 2008 jako prototyp a její vývoj pokračuje dodnes. Poslední významný pokrok nastal, když byl lidský hráč nahrazen robotem. Strojová přesnost dokonalého načasování robotické ruky v kombinaci s křehkou a nepředvídatelnou odezvou laserového paprsku. Paprsek se odráží do prostoru, kde vytváří dechberoucí vizuální efekty. Umělé paže jsou schopny pohybovat optickými prvky s mimořádnou přesností, ať už energicky a živě, nebo moudře a téměř nepostřehnutelně.

I have been researching a critical need I've observed since arriving in New York: "How can we make furniture friendlier for renters and the unhoused?" I aim to design and produce affordable, modular furniture that combines beautiful, design-forward aesthetics with sustainable, recyclable materials and processes. Each piece will be built for easy self-assembly and transport, making it ideal for the flexibility of modern city living while promoting environmental protection. For my exhibition, I am displaying samples of a miniature furniture set that I created over the summer through 3D modeling and printing. This was an impressive new skill I explored as part of my journey toward reaching my goal.
