The app acts on two fronts: education and awareness and patient support. On the awareness side, it provides a chatbot with reliable information, curated news, and clear guidance on how to become a donor. On the patient side, it offers tools such as medication reminders, hospital geolocation, digital health records and waiting list tracking. By combining these features, Life4All enhances adherence to treatment, improves quality of life, and fosters a culture of donation. Its mission is to reduce the organ shortage crisis by raising awareness and building stronger connections between society and transplant patients.

Sinds 2018 ben ik mij gaan verdiepen in tuinieren en vanuit daar is mijn onderzoek gestart naar wat zou je nu met de resten van groente kunnen doen. Omdat ik een achtergrond in mode heb, heb ik nog steeds een liefde voor kleur en textiel. Deze aspecten gecombineerd kwam ik uit bij het natuurlijk verven van textiel met bladeren, bloemen en schillen. De kennis en kunde die ik hierover heb opgedaan wil ik graag met mensen delen, om te laten zien dat het ook anders kan. Nu wordt al onze kleding geverf op een chemische manier wat zijn weerslag heeft op het milieu en de gezondheid van de mens. En dat kan naar mijn idee anders.

Ik ben een ontwerper en storyteller die glas gebruikt om emotie tastbaar te maken. Met lampworking en het samenvoegen van scherven creëer ik kralen en objecten die thema’s als mentale gezondheid, breekbaarheid en zelfherstel verkennen. Glas is voor mij een krachtig symbool—onvoorspelbaar en eigenzinnig, maar met geduld en kennis laat het zich vormen. In de hitte van de vlam wordt zelfs een scherpe scherf weer zacht en kneedbaar. Die transformatie raakt me en weerspiegelt hoe verandering en herstel mogelijk zijn. Wat me het meest inspireert, zijn de gesprekken die mijn werk oproept. Sieraden zijn meer dan versiering; ze verbinden mensen en verhalen. Ik ben altijd benieuwd naar de betekenis achter een aankoop—voor wie is het, waarom resoneert dit stuk met hun verhaal? Mijn werk gaat verder dan glas. Het is een manier om innerlijke werelden zichtbaar te maken en gevoelens om te zetten in objecten die begrepen en gedeeld kunnen worden. Foto door: Tjitske Sluis

Instruments for music therapy in elementary school

Music therapy is a method that we use in our school to help children with special needs. For this purpose, we build instruments in our school that have proven to be effective. So far, we have built tubulums and tube xylophones, but also other, simpler instruments. Our music therapist, Mrs. Neda Perdija Grbić, also uses them at the Klaićeva Children's Hospital. We would be happy to show our DIY music instruments on Maker Faire Trieste so visitors can try to play them.

Our project introduces a self-sustainable water filtering system. Its main goal is to provide clean drinking water without harming the environment. The system requires no fuel, as it uses solar energy to purify undrinkable water. Through solar mirrors, the sun’s heat boils the water, and the vapor is collected and condensed into safe, drinkable water. A durable metal container stores the water, and tubes transport it efficiently. This eco-friendly design saves fuel, protects nature, and ensures a reliable source of clean water. Simple yet effective, our project offers a sustainable solution for everyone.
