As a maker, I grew up exploring all types of crafts. My main craft is to work with fabric. I make quilts. It has created an abundance of fabric, and I have found a practical use for it -TWINING! The loom can use up to 17 yards of fabric ! Since 2019, I’ve been participating in a weekly sewing group with friends from Canada, Oregon, and California. We primarily make modern quilts. Last year I sold my first quilt, “If Quilts Could Speak!” at the gallery in Powell’s Book Store (Portland, OR) during the Rainbow Challenge. I am expanding into fabric dying and weaving. I was a classroom teacher before raising my children and am always interested in sharing my skills!
