MAKE's Nick Raymond provides a basic introduction to breadboards - reusable, solder-free prototyping platforms. Learn how they work and how you can easily build and test circuit designs.
Nick Raymond — Contributor & Intern Manager
Nick is a recent graduate from the UC Davis mechanical engineering program and has been working at Make for the past four years. After winning a $15k renewable energy grant, Nick led a team of fellow undergraduate engineering students to design, fabricate, and test a wave energy convertor prototype capable of producing renewable electricity from ocean waves. When he is not hosting Make's Weekend Projects hangouts, you're just as likely to find him operating and programming an industrial CNC machine in the research lab, building handmade furniture in the garage, or tinkering with sensors and microcontrollers on his latest automated home brewing experiment.
