Why Sharing What You Make Is Really Really Important

The only thing better than making is getting to share what you make with others. Clare spent an entire year posting her projects on the internet. What she discovered was a great community, the power of representation, and that the act of sharing is really important.

What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
I was introduced to the maker community when got a job running the Seattle University Innovation Lab. It had to learn a lot in a short amount of time, so I turned to the internet for help. I found a great community, but I was found the people that inspired me the most where young women like me. I want to present about why sharing is important because it is other peoples stories is both what helped me on a practical and emotional level. I want to people to see me, and girl who doesn't have any degree in engineering still have success and love making.

TRDL; I feel like I have a unique and underrepresented voice and I want to share so people like me will be inspired to make.
