Victoria Mara Heilweil
Victoria Mara Heilweil is a photographic artist, curator and educator. Her work has exhibited at the de Young Museum, San Jose Institute for Contemporary Art, California Academy of Sciences and the ZERO1 Biennial in San Jose.
Parametrically designed, illuminated seating. The organic curves are inspired by nature and soundwaves. Designed in Maxon Cinema 4d & constructed from CNC cut ¾ inch birch plywood. Custom LED light patterns illuminate from within via Arduino.
What inspired you to make this project?:
We wanted to make some illuminated art that was also functional.
