Fog and Forge is run by three friends who love to tinker with technology and make things with their hands. Carl, Michele, and Jeff live in Oregon and are passionate about technology, teaching, and techno fun.
Fog and Forge designs and builds uniquely engineered and customized furniture pieces that meld traditional design with modern usages.
What inspired you to make this project?:
It seems a shame that there is so much creativity in the world, and yet, everyone purchases the same seven pieces of furniture from Target and IKEA. Also, that same furniture is designed for people who lived 100 years ago. Why doesn't my table work with my iPhone or hold my hearing aids so I don't lose them? Surely we can make something more interesting.
