Co-founder of the Arduino Project, Tom Igoe previews the third edition of his game-changing text "Making Things Talk" and answers questions about his approach to connected devices. Hint: Don't call it "IoT."
Tom Igoe works at NYU's ITP, where he is head of the physical computing classes. His research interests include physical interaction design, networks, sustainable technology development, and monkeys. He's written four books and a variety of articles for makers. He is a co-founder of Arduino.cc and has consulted on various interaction design projects as well. He wants to visit Svalbard someday.
