Illumination and Elevation

Technical Artisans Collective (TAC) will have three STEAM experiential educational activities in which participants will explore mechanical advantage, rigging, simple machines, engineering, light, storytelling, visual art, math and physics.

What inspired you to make this project?:
We want to inspire people, especially young people, to experience how they can transform the world through building, making and creating with math, science, simple machines, tools and art. As technicians and designers in the professional world we bring academics and arts together every day to make fantastic worlds. We want others to understand how they can use these same skills and many of the tools in their everyday lives, as well as introduce them to the fun, larger experiences and equipment used in our crafts. We hope to inspire young Makers by connecting wonder and joy to tools and understanding.
