I have been a maker since childhood, ever since I could put together a car with Legos. In high school and college I was an inventor, always finding something new to make, like a wrist-mounted flashlight or a mask for the masquerade. Now I am an engineer, using my skills and knowledge to make good products to improve lives and inspire dreams. The box backpacks have been a surprise hit. They started when I was in college as an answer to an odd question, a creative outlet and, very quickly, as a practical part of everyday life. I've never stopped using them, developing the idea into something of a technology. It's been a lot of fun seeing what I can do with a box on my back.
