Andres Franco Also Known As Tobi

Andrés Franco (he/him), also known As Tobi, is an Artist Engineer from Bogotá, Colombia, now based in Brooklyn, New York. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineer from National University of Colombia and he is currently pursuing an M.P.S. in Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University. Tobi’s work lies at the intersections of art, technology, and environmental consciousness. He creates mechanical sculptures from salvaged materials, incorporating alternative energy sources. Through these thought-provoking creations, he explores themes of resilience, sustainability, and joy, while fostering an optimistic view of the future. As a proud member of the Latino community, Tobi draws inspiration from his cultural roots and strives to amplify Latin American representation in the realms of technology and art.
