What Inspired You to Make This?

Stroke survivors spend a great deal of their time in the hospital sedentary, but there is strong evidence that increased physical activity after stroke leads to better outcomes. We were inspired to provide a technology system that could increase physical activity outside of a patient’s scheduled therapy session, and to do so without creating more work for healthcare providers. Integrating machine learning into our system would provide more information to users with even further minimized effort from a clinician or scientist. We would like to engage the community in learning about our technology and helping to make it better.
