I loved dot-to-dot puzzles as a kid. I always looked for the most challenging dot-to-dots, which back then meant, the ones with the highest numbers. As an adult I noticed that all the dot-to-dot books on the market were designed for young kids learning their numbers. I had been working in the design field and was getting tired of creating disposable art. I wanted to create something that I would enjoy designing, and that the end user would actually use and enjoy as well. I decided that I wanted to create a book that contained dot-to-dots with amazingly detailed art, high numbers and new styles and patterns for connecting dots. I wanted to create a similar experience to that I had as a kid, of seeing a detailed image slowly appear before my eyes like magic. I started my first book in 1994, and it was published in 2000.
