Experience the thrilling world of drone racing! Join us at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm for heart-pounding races that will leave you breathless. Don’t miss the chance to witness the incredible skills of our commercial drones at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 5 pm every day. Our talented drone racers will also be available to sign autographs and take pictures with the little ones.

Experience the cutting-edge world of wearable technology at this one-of-a-kind fashion show! Created by three innovative individuals from Calgary, MakeFashion is now a global Fashion Technology community. With a collection of more than 250 wearable tech garments, they have taken the stage at over 60 international events.

Don’t miss the explosive spectacle of EepyBird’s 102 bottles of Diet Coke (or similar), each featuring a unique, meticulously crafted nozzle. With a simple pull of a pin, 6 Mentos candies cascade down, launching a mesmerizing 20-foot geyser into the sky. Witness our choreographed fountain display, inspired by the iconic Bellagio fountains of Las Vegas.

Come and make your own LED “neon” sign to take home and add unique pizzaz to your home or office! Select from a selection of 3D printed shapes, and we will coach you through adding LED rope to the tracks in the shape, soldering where needed, so that you end up with a functional light to take with you.

Cello Joe plays the cello while beatboxing, looping, and singing. It’s Classical Hip Hop. He creates fat beats with a cello and his mouth and he does it live! He is an anomaly in the world of cellists.

On June 18-19, 2016, makers from across the United States convened in Washington, DC, at the Second Annual National Maker Faire. Kicking off the “Week of Making” (June 17-23) National Maker Faire gave curious, inventive people a place to share what they love to make.
Attendees at this free, family-friendly event have the opportunity to interact with such technologies as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, electronics, and 3D printers as well as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects, textiles, crafting activities, homemade robots, and more.
