GET TRAFFIC UPDATES ON FAIRE DAYS
Maker Faire starts promptly at 11:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Please keep traffic in mind and plan to arrive with enough time to park or walk from public transportation.
There are many public transportation options to get to Maker Faire.
The Van Ness-UDC Metro station, Red Line is right at the Faire. Just a few steps away!
Metrorail to close at midnight every night beginning June 3.

For directions by Metro Bus, the following bus routes go to UDC:
- H2 – Crosstown Line
L1 – Connecticut Avenue Line
L2 – Connecticut Avenue Line
L4 – Connecticut Avenue Line

There are two Capital Bikeshare stations near Van Ness-UDC both on Connecticut Ave NW. See here for locations.
We highly recommend taking public transportation as traffic will be heavy. Also, please consider the environment!
There will be $5 all-day parking available at the University of D.C., entrance on Van Ness St.
There will be $5 all-day handicap parking available at University of D.C., entrance on Van Ness St (fills up fast).
