The puzzle has players find lost digital pets to complete the zookeeper’s exhibits. The puzzle involves an interactive map and point and click style gameplay. Each habitat has a logic riddle to solve to find the pet and put the lost critters back into the zoo!
Each logic riddle gives hints to different qualities of the digital pet that has been lost. The players have to match the animals to the correct positions according to the hints. Additionally, players can also explore the exhibits and learn additional lore and stories about the zookeeper and the Archivist.
Cyber Critters Team
Cyber Critters is the nostalgia-fueled brainchild of several CADRE members. It takes inspiration from old web games like Moshi Monsters and Webkinz, along with logic and puzzle games.
CADRE Student Organization Showcase Maker
CADRE S.O. (Computers in Art, Design, Research & Education Student Organization) is a student-run club from San José State University that explores the intersection of Art, Design, and Technology through collaboration and experimentation. We create student-led projects and installation artworks that are exhibited at festivals and shows in the Bay Area with the help of the CADRE Laboratory for New Media.
