Chromolume

The Chromolume is an art piece I made for the play “Sunday in the Park with George” presented by Shotgun Players Theater in Berkeley. This light-art piece spins and casts light and shadows in the space around it, and is fully controllable with DMX, which enabled the sound and light designers to collaborate with the art piece.
Sydney Parcell
Sydney Parcell is a Bay-Area artist who explores optical illusions through light, shadow, and movement. She creates sculptures of all sizes from large-scaled sculpures, to small, hand-held objects that let you see the world through a different lense. She believes that all art should be played with, and that magic exists all around you, you just need to know how to look.
