Recreate a bit of Depression Era history and bring it into the next century with our electric cigar box guitar workshop. Class will cover the fundamentals of building the guitars, with enough room for students to modify their instrument to their specifications.

Urbano Maher
Urbano Maher is a member of the Maker Depot makerspace in Totowa, NJ, as well as a trainer/educator for the non-profit Maker Depot Academy. Originally a fine arts student, he discovered the Maker Depot in 2015 and has engrossed himself in as many of the various mediums available. From 3D printing to CNC to laser cutting to woodworking to electronics, he attempts to blend as many concepts together as he can using his art background to fill in the gaps. This has the unintended consequence of him talking a bit too much when he gets excited about an idea, so try not to strike up a conversation if you have anywhere you need to be in the next hour.
