AI4VI – Advanced I-Sight for Visually Impaired – a miniature wearable device that can help detect obstacles beyond the range of a person’s cane and provides audible and haptic vibration alerts before such obstacles may pose a danger to the person.

Nitin is a freshman at Somers High. He enjoys reading, writing & tech. His main interests are computers, electronics new & old, building things, and music. He is also a black belt in karate. All his computers and electronics skills are self-taught.

Divek is 13 years old and is in 8th Grade at St. Augustine School in Ossining. His favorite subject is math. He plays soccer & basketball, swims, and does taekwondo. He also loves competing at math competitions from which he has received many awards!

Karan is in 7th grade at Briarcliff Manor Middle School. He loves to play soccer, tennis, and the violin. He is a black belt in Karate, and in his free time he reads, plays ping pong, and enjoys the game of chess.
