Magnets: The Game

Magnets: The Game is the Marbles of The 21st Century! It's a travel sized tossing game with Magnets! Game rules are intuitive and co-operative. It is being self produced and hand assembled. The skill of your toss vs magnetic power = fun for all!

What inspired you to make this project?:
Magnets: The Game was discovered when a pack of art school grads raided a recently evicted Shower curtain factory just outside the Navy Yard in Brooklyn. Among the reams and reams of vinyl material and belt driven Singer sewing machines was one box of disc magnets. We took those magnets home and spread them out on the table. Quickly seeing that the magnets wanted to stack into a cylinder, we named this as the first rule: make a stack and you get to collect it. From there hours and hours of fun has been inspired. It is surprisingly fun to watch magnets repel and attract each other once their tossed. From concept to product has taken me many years and lots of patience. Rules have been tested and retested and the packaging has been perfected. Now I get to move from designer to publicist and thrilled to tell everyone I meet about this game I am producing. Magnets: The Game; it's the marbles of the 21st century!
