Dr. Karl Wald was working as a research scientist for 6 years. He decided to take a break and shadow an elephant veterinarian for 3 months in Sri Lanka. It changed his life. He now runs his conservation minded enterprise, Mr. Ellie Pooh LLC.
Mr. Ellie Pooh is a innovative company promoting elephant conservation in Sri Lanka by making 100% recycled gifts and stationery out of elephant poo fiber and waste paper.

What inspired you to make this project?:
I have always loved animals and the environment, what better way to try and save a little piece of this world. We are creating fair trade sustainable jobs in areas where there are wild elephants. Save the elephants, save the world.
