What Does it Mean to be a Curious Girl?

World Maker Faire 2017

September 23rd-24th

Presentation Young Makers

Curious Jane brings hands-on projects and DIY fun to cool, creative girls everywhere – for making, creating, designing and inventing. At Maker Faire, you’ll hear from Curious Jane founder, Samantha Razook, as well as some of the girls who are a strong part of the CJ community. We’ll introduce you to who we are and what we do; we’ll share our goals and mission through a casual Q&A, and we’ll show you a few of our favorite projects.

Samantha Razook

Samantha founded Curious Jane (CJ) to give her girls, and all girls a chance to be creative and inventive in a high-energy space. She's Southern-raised, now Brooklyn-based. Samantha holds her BA from Yale and MID from Pratt. She loves to tinker, design, create and – of course!! – do tons of fun stuff around NYC, and around the world, with her girls, family, and friends. CJ was recently awarded a prestigious grant from Chase / Google, the first CJ Project Book was published in 2017 (Sterling), and CJ magazine is on all Barnes & Noble newsstands.
