Hack Manhattan is a non-profit community hackerspace in New York City where people come together to work on projects and share knowledge.
What inspired you to make this project?:
We are a community of like-minded makers, artists, and hackers who believed the best way to advance Making in New York would be a space where you can come to work, play, and learn without having to spend money or meet arbitrary qualifications. We believe in the power of sharing, open dialogue, and community support. We started at Maker Faire 2011 with a signup sheet and an idea, and we're still going strong.
