David received a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2015. He works at a startup in Chicago focusing on surface haptic devices.

What inspired you to make this project?:
Our students were not learning hands-on electronics in the standard lecture-and-lab style introduction to electronics course. We were inspired by reading about the flipped classroom model, and decided to apply it to our electronics class.
