Community internet radio broadcasting out of SI Makerspace in NYC. MakerParkRadio.nyc is dedicated to providing free music, live arts and maker based programming by broadcasting selected two hour shows that are diverse and inclusive of many genres and sub-genres. The station is a Non-Profit that aims to be a museum of sound, where music of many generations and genres are played and reminisced over, while also giving new and emerging underground music a chance to be heard.

Maker Park Radio’s programming is freeform and includes many music and arts cultures, spanning the history of music both nationally and internationally, as well as highlighting our local talent here in Staten Island, NY, and beyond. All of the DJs and show presenters are volunteers who believe in the difference community radio can make. The station uses the universal language of music as a community building tool, as well as providing a place for people to learn about the arts through interview and performance shows with fine artists, street artists, chefs, sculptors, writers, comedians, producers, teachers, musicians, actors, performers and photographers.
