Anne Filson is a maker, designer, architect, educator, and co-founder of AtFAB CNC Furniture, and also co-author of Make: Design for CNC. She teaches architecture, design, and entrepreneurship to graduate and undergraduate design students.
Gary Rohrbacher
Gary Rohrbacher is a digital fabrication maker, architect, educator, co-founder of AtFAB, and co-author of the upcoming Make: book, Design for CNC.
Anna Kaziunas-France
Anna Kaziunas France is co-author of Make: Design for CNC. She has been an Editor with Make: Books, Make Magazine's Digital Fabrication Editor, co-author of Getting Started with MakerBot, and compiler of the Make: 3D Printing book. She also directed and taught the “How to Make Almost Anything” rapid prototyping course at the Providence Fab Academy.

Make: Design for CNC is a new book, offering hands-on practical technique for making your own furniture projects with a CNC router. Hear from the book's co-authors about how they use AtFAB open source furniture designs to teach CNC fundamentals, applied design, and the essentials of digital craft.
What inspired you to begin investigating your topic or inspired you to make your project?:
We originally designed CNC furniture as a sustainable, beautiful, and durable alternative to the usual big-box furniture options out there. When we started sharing our open source digital files online, we learned that makers all over the world were looking for the same thing we were. We've met so many makers who embrace the ideas of design and local, digital fabrication, but perceive CNC routers as too advanced, expensive, or complicated. We wrote this book to teach them, and to show that CNC fabrication is more accessible and feasible than many think!
