Plainview-Old Bethpage STEM Team
We are dedicated to educating the youth of our community in the STEM field and sparking their interest in STEM from a very young age in hopes of raising a generation of creative and innovative thinkers who can change the world.
Our group is devoted to STEM education for our youth, engaging them in STEM activities from a young age. As a result, we have created STEM is Fun! - activities targeted at kids to get them interested in the field, three of which will be available.
What inspired you to make this project?:
The families involved in this project believe in the importance of STEM education and how STEM will play a pivotal role in the coming decades. We believe children should be introduced to STEM through fun, engaging hands-on activities at as young of an age as possible, and thus we were inspired to create these activities and lessons.
