SLIME - Students of Long Island Maker Expo showcases makers from libraries and schools. Projects will include simple robotics, low tech making using recyclable materials, and student-created projects using the design thinking model.
What inspired you to make this project?:
We are inspired to help our students understand that making with their hands is just as important as academic learning. They can learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills while developing empathy, collaboration, and communication skills.
