François Delarozière and Pierre Orefice are the co-founders of Les Machines de L’île de Nantes. The workshop of the company La Machine, lead by F. Delaroziere, is the heart of Les Machines. Every machine is conceived and built there, then tested with visitors in the Galerie des Machines. La Machine showcases its machines around the world.
Pierre Orefice
After economics and political sciences studies, he dives headlong into the cultural maelstrom of the 80s. Producer and administrator of the street Co Le Royal de Luxe from 84 to 98. He is co-author and director of les Machines de Nantes since 2007.

François Delaroziere
After the Fine Arts of Marseille, he meets in 1981, the Co Royal de Luxe and builds their sets. In 99, he creates the Co La Machine and in 2004, inventes with P Orefice Les Machines de l’Ile. His latest creation the Horse Dragon in Beijing in 2014
