Our exhibit is a unique collection of home brewed radio controlled/roving/animatronic props, compressed air driven contraptions and 3D video displays all with a Halloween theme. We present these props and displays in an interactive fashion, with the goal of providing all Faire goers young and old with an entertaining, hands-on and educational experience. As in our prior Maker Faire showings, we hope to educate Faire attendees about our builds and how they might create their own versions. We allow them to use hand held R/C units to control the multiple props themselves, providing an immersive, enjoyable (and sometimes scary) experience.

Our group is made up of myself and my brother along with our uncle who assists us with the exhibit during show hours. My two sons and daughter will also assist during the show.
What Inspired You to Make This?
We are a team of brothers sharing a passion for creating and educating about innovative Halloween themed projects. We have been DIYing mobile, interactive and original haunts for better than decade and have had the opportunity to showcase our creations at Maker Faire 2018 and last year in 2023. We thoroughly enjoyed being the cause of much screaming, havoc and laughing at both venues and were honored to receive an Editor's Choice Blue Ribbon for our exhibit on both occasions. Subsequently we were also given the honor to share two of our Halloween projects with the greater maker community in Make Magazine Volume 74 , "R/C Garbage Can Zombie" and “DIY Fog Projection Screen”. Of course, we are both excited to return to Maker Faire Bay Area this year and look forward to entertaining, teaching and haunting all those who dare approach.
