Marta Gavioli

Marta is an Italian engineer with a passion for textile craftsmanship. From sewing to embroidery, crochet, hand- and machine-knitting, she creates unique and long-lasting garments. Her grandmothers taught her the basics, but she's since sharpened her craft with self-taught expertise. Marta is a fierce advocate for sustainable fashion and loves upcycling as a way to add personality to your wardrobe while making clothes last longer. When she's not teaching upcycling fashion at X, TU Delft cultural centre, you can find her experimenting with different techniques and getting lost in the historical and social aspects of these arts.
