Every wanted to try out pottery? Visit our booth and get your hands dirty with us! We'll have a clay project for you to make and take home that day. We will also be demonstrating handbuilding and decorating a 2-foot tall vase throughout the day.

At Fifth Street Studio, we seek to explore our art and pass it on to our ever growing creative community. Our booth will be operated by two of our teachers, Alex DerGazarian and MaryClaire Franklin.

We have a vibrant community of artists, potters, makers, and curious individuals that find a home at our studio, and we have loved watching it change and develop over time through a shared love of clay. The Maker Faire is an amazing opportunity to meet new people who would benefit from a supportive, creative community. Every new voice we get in the studio creates ripples in our members' and students' work; we love to watch our community stretch it boundaries and the best way to do that is to bring in new voices and makers.
