Phoebe has been enchanting the world with her remarkable talent for crafting puppet dragons, wolves and other animals since fifth grade. With nimble fingers and an imaginative mind, she brings these mythical creatures to life, gluing together paper, recycled cardboard, fabric, and/or glitter to create whimsical companions that spark joy in the hearts of all who behold them. Fueled by a boundless love for art, Phoebe spends countless hours honing her craft, experimenting with different techniques, and pushing the boundaries of her creativity. Doc Dave is going to share how he makes props for his haunted Halloween cemetery. Props include headstones and grave markers (some animated), upholstered coffins, and realistic skeletal material all made from new materials that are mechanically distressed, painted and webbed to make them look very old and decayed. A few simple, but effective, homemade animatronics will also be on display. He will also share how he makes inexpensive atmosphere effects like "critter eyes," ground fog, lighting effects and his "Ghost Gun" (vortex cannon) made out of a 55 gallon drum. Doc Dave places emphasis is on spooky and creepy and fun rather than gore to make a family friendly haunt!

They are selling these products to raise funds for children's mental health organizations, which they feel passionate about.

We have zine templates and supplies so you can make your own as well as zines you can peruse and take home. If you have zines you would like to share please feel free to bring them to the table! We'll have displays and boxes setup so you can add them to be distributed during the fair. If we have any left over from the fair we will be distributing them to various zine boxes we can find.
