AstraMouse is an EdTech initiative aimed at teaching school students the fundamentals of engineering through hands-on education. Our objective is to introduce youngsters to algorithms using the example of line-tracking robots.

Javokhirbek Makhmudov
Javokhirbek Makhmudov is an engineering enthusiast who developed his skills in Navoi, an industrial city in Uzbekistan. He is also a team leader and part of the engineering team at the World Aral Region Charity, which undertakes eco-engineering projects in Karakalpakstan. He created the AstraMouse project using his engineering expertise to build an educational initiative for underrepresented youth in Karakalpakstan.

The two years I spent with the World Aral Region Charity inspired me to create this project, as there are many bright young minds who are underrepresented due to demographic factors.
