AI for Renewable Energy Communities
A compact and interactive prototype of a Renewable Energy Community (REC) managed by Artificial Intelligence. Visitors will explore a miniature smart grid with houses, batteries, and renewable sources. A microcontroller acts as the brain of the system, optimizing energy flows in real time. The project makes energy transition and AI-based management easy to understand for everyone.

Sapienza Università di Roma
We are a research team from Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications (DIET), combining expertise in AI, smart grids, and energy systems. From our academic and research experience, we founded TensorLoops, an innovative startup focused on intelligent solutions for Renewable Energy Communities. In past projects, we developed predictive maintenance tools and control algorithms for microgrids. We became makers by combining theory with hands-on prototyping, turning research into real-world impact.
