Toto muzeum bude složeno z odložených předmětů – přehlížených, rozbitých fragmentů věcí a věciček, které nakonec vždy skončí v šuplíku nebo v míse na ovoce. Jde o předměty, které si necháváme jen proto, že je nám líto je vyhodit. Nebo to mohou být věci, které najdeme při procházce, když věnujeme pozornost tomu, co leží pod našima nohama – věci, které bychom normálně přehlédli, odhozené a zapomenuté drobnosti. V našem muzeu dostanou tyto předměty druhou šanci; budou znovu spatřeny a možná získají i nový význam. Muzeum však nebude jen vystavovat tyto zapomenuté objekty a dávat jim nový kontext a důležitost – umožní také návštěvníkům si s nimi hrát. Budou moci sestavovat tyto odložené předměty do nových konfigurací, čímž jim propůjčí nové identity, nečekané významy a imaginativní souvislosti.
