Vesmír pro studenty – Astronomický ústav AV ČR, Spektrograf, Astrofotografie

Naprosto nezbytnou součástí dnešní astronomie je spektroskopie. Díky spektroskopii známe například složení, vzdálenosti a vzájemné rychlosti objektů vzdáleného vesmíru. Na spektroskopii se prakticky zakládá celá moderní astronomie. K analýze světla se používá přístroj zvaný spektrograf. V rámci studentské stáže Otevřené vědy na Astronomickém ústavu AV ČR jeden takový spektrograf vznikl. Náš stánek, provozovaný studenty středních škol, vám tento přístroj představí společně s aktivitami pro mladé studenty, které Astronomický ústav AV ČR nabízí. Kromě spektrografu si budete moci zblízka prohlédnout různé typy astronomických dalekohledů a kamer, které se používají k pozorování a fotografování vzdálených galaxií, planet a mlhovin. Slapstitch Embroidery

Each piece is lovingly hand-made by yours truly from design, to fabrication, to embellishment, to you! My work is heavily inspired by a childhood one stop away from Coney Island on the D train (Gravesend, baby) and a young adulthood in a too-fast, often uncaring world. I try to pay homage to the city that raised me through riot-grrl inspired designs and motifs, and I'm a staunch advocate for slow, sloppy, manmade art.

Ik zal mijn werk Breathers presenteren, twee interactieve sculpturen die door middel van technologie menselijke verbondenheid op afstand verkennen. De installatie stelt twee personen in staat om elkaars lichamelijke signalen (hartslag, ademhaling en temperatuur) te ervaren via tactiele interfaces. Dit project zet mijn voortdurende onderzoek naar 'mediated social touch' (MST) voort, een gebied binnen de haptische technologie dat aanraking simuleert en mogelijk maakt tussen mensen die fysiek van elkaar gescheiden zijn. Met deze werken wil ik onderzoeken of tactiele feedback empathie en een gevoel van wederzijdse verantwoordelijkheid kan bevorderen. Daarnaast wil ik dieper ingaan op thema’s als consent, privacy en fluiditeit in technologisch gemedieerde interacties. Om deze visie te realiseren, moeten veel parameters en ethische vraagstukken worden overwogen. Ik hoop het publiek in een open dialoog te betrekken over de verdere ontwikkeling van dit project.

Opět vás všechny zvu do své dílny plné 3D tisku. Představím vám široké portfolio mých malých projektíků, které jsou všem dostupné na internetu. Hlavní částí jsou stavebnice aut s odpruženými koly navržené přímo pro 3D tisk. Poskládat tyto auta dokáže opravdu každý a to bez lepení. Nově představím stavebnice aut na dálkové ovládání s použitím modulárního systému CyberBrick. Mimo jiné uvidíte i jiné projekty. Například odpalovací zařízení vrtulí s planetovou převodovkou, medvídka z růží, pohyblivý Wankelův motor, nebo magnetickou točící hračku, která se dokáže točit i několik minut. Nevěříte? Tak se přijďte podívat do mého stánku!
