Local acts from the Bay Area music scene share their gifts with us as we support them with good clean pedal power, making for a connected and fun performer-audience connection. Musical tastes range from rock, jazz, world, and funk, often danceable. Thanks to our hyperefficient sound system with its class D amplifiers there is a surprising amount of bass and spacious audio clarity when all 12 bikes are full and pedaling. So come enjoy your lunch and delight in local grooves, then take a turn on the bikes and power up the band! Wander over to our circuit table and see how we do it with a unique mix of ultracapacitors and lithium batteries.

Come use 3D pens to literally draw in thin air! A 3d pen is a handheld unique kind of drawing tool that works like a pen but spits out plastic. A 3d pen produces refined three-dimensional shapes which can draw on the surfaces or in the air and requires no computers or software. It uses ABS or PLA plastic, unlike a normal pen that uses lead or ink. The pen has a powered electric heater that has an extruder and a heating element that melts the plastic filaments. The ABS or PLA plastic filaments are fed in one end. Once the filaments melt, they are forced out through the extruder tip as warm thermoplastic that hardens within seconds. It's an exciting new kind of tool that you can come experiment with!

We have worked on StarTrekBeyond, Predator, Maze runner, DeathNote, Ghostbusters, Fraggle Rock, and made one of the most viral advertising campaigns ever on Youtube for Wednesday Adams. We are very lucky. Everyone in this talk started out as makers just like you. Some of us lived in the middle of nowhere. 3D printing, Designing, Lasers, robotics and Radio Control. How did we get into movies with the odds stacked against us? We will share our stories of how we got into movies and show you how we snuck into the movie industry.
