The Cozy Librarian combines a love of books with a passion for fiber arts creations. We started selling blind book dates in 2020 as a way to encourage diverse and inclusive reading habits throughout NWA and beyond. We also sell knitted book covers!

Emily (The Cozy Librarian) worked in two different libraries for almost a decade before taking on her business full time in late 2023. She’s loved books for as long as she can remember. She has an honors degree in English lit from the University of Arkansas and loves chatting about all things bookish!
What Inspired You to Make This?
During the early months of the pandemic, there was a movement on social media about diversifying your bookshelves. I found blind book dates as a way of promoting/encouraging inclusive reading habits, or maybe reading a book you wouldn’t normally pick up.
